Short transfers
Negombo is only 9 km (about 20 minutes) from the airport, so it is the most affordable transfer, from Rs 3,500.
Hill country
Kandy is about 114 km (around 2 h 55 min). Many travellers continue on to Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya or Ella afterwards.
South coast
Galle, Hikkaduwa, Bentota and Mirissa run along the coast road and expressway, between 108 and 177 km from the airport.
