1. Nine Arches Bridge
The Nine Arches Bridge is a spectacular colonial-era railway bridge set amidst lush greenery and is famous for its scenic views and photography.
Timing: The best time to visit is between 9.00 AM and 11.00 AM or around 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM to capture the passing train for that picture-perfect view.
Entry Fee: Free.
Best Time to Visit: December to March for clear skies and comfortable weather.
Tips: The bridge can be accessed by walking on the tracks from Ella town, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes, or by tuk-tuk.
2. Little Adam’s Peak
Named after the sacred Adam’s Peak, Little Adam’s Peak provides a shorter yet rewarding hike that offers panoramic views of the surrounding tea plantations and valleys.
Hiking Time: About 1-1.5 hours round trip.

Best Time to Visit: In the early morning or late afternoon when the temperature is cooler.

3. Ella Rock
Ella Rock is a more strenuous hike but allows wide views of Ella Gap and beyond. This trek is really popular among frequent trekkers and nature lovers.

Entry Fee: Free, although at times some local guides take hikes for about LKR 4,000-6,000.
Best Time to Visit: Early morning for cooler temperatures and clear views.
Notice: The trail is confusing at times; a guide can be considered in order to take full joy without any problem arising.
4. Ravana Falls
Ravana Falls is a breathtaking 25m-high waterfall, conveniently located along the road for quick photo stops. It is during the rainy season that this waterfall is most powerful.
Timing: Open all day, though best timings to visit are early morning and late afternoon.
